Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates
This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set:P0133-00 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response. P20EE-00 - SCR NOX Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. P050E-00 - Cold Start Engine Exhaust Temperature Too Low. P0299 - Turbocharger Underboost Condition. The following software enhancement is available:Calibration to correct the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system?s inability to detect and set DTCP0420 - Catalyst Efficiency (Bank 1)when the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is missing.
