The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that every time the vehicle was in operation and a turn was made, the vehicle decelerated and lost power. Also, the front wheels and steering wheel seized. The contact could not turn the vehicle due to the stiffness of the steering wheel. In addition, the engine leaked oil and the electronic throttle, check engine, and stability control warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to North West Dodge (9616 northwest fwy, houston, tx 77065, (281) 720-1128) where it was diagnosed that the oil needed to be changed. The vehicle was repaired multiple times, but the failures recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 39,680. The VIN was invalid.

I nearly died on 5/8/19 driving my Jeep. I was going about 60mph on the expressway in the far left lane. My sos 🆘 went off on my phone and immediately I lost control of the car and wheels started turn into left and right. There was no more power steering and I had to struggle and force the wheel to the right and left so I wouldn't crash into the divider wall on the left and cars on the right when it would change lanes. This went on for what seemed forever. I reached for my phone that was flashing and pressed the cancel button and shortly after it began to calm down and I began to get some control. I don't understand what happened my phone was not connected to the blue tooth it was sitting on the passenger seat. You have an image that is described as a death wobble that is similar only mine was more profoundly severe. What is this and what causes it? it almost killed me. I could have had my grandchildren in the car with me. I do not want to go in to Jeep an they act like they don't know or can't find the problem. This is a deadly safety problem and I am afraid to drive this car. It is safe and there is no warning sign. Fix it immediately, recall it, exchange it, or refund it.

While being towed by an rv, the Jeep started violently wobbling which shook my 40,000 # rv pretty hard. This started after a slow (about 5mph) left turn. The wobbling did not stop until completely stopping the rv. This has only happened once in 5,000 miles of being towed. Has never happened while driving the Jeep about 11,000 miles.

On highway going 70 mph with cruise control set and all of a sudden our Jeep went out of control and started to the left. Was able to regain control after a few seconds, but was very lucky there was no other vehicles to our left or we would have crashed into it. On July 18, 2018, recall 18U65183 18-U6-51-83 reprogram PCM with new software was installed.

While driving around a curve, steering control went out and traction control kicked on. This caused an inability to properly control the vehicle. Traction control pulled vehicle into the side of the road and caused a minor accident.
