The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While the vehicle was at a stop sign, it stalled without warning. The contact powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted and was able to drive normally. The vehicle was later taken to baxter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram omaha (17950 burt St, omaha, ne 68118, (402) 493-7800) where it was diagnosed, but a failure code could not be found. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the same dealer and was informed that they had updated the software. The contact was not aware of the software update at the time of the diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 11,300.
