The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee also has the same transmission issues.
Driving about 25mph - suddenly dash went black - shifter lights started flashing - wipers turned on - stopped car - could not shift out of gear - eventually it did and was able to shut engine off - then restart and drive home - dealer said - all codes activated - reset check engine light - can't find anything wrong.
