CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee shows an early trend of transmission complaints. Most of the complaints are for rough shifting — things like jerking & hesitation when shifting gears.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee also has the same transmission issues.
Although Chrysler swears after the very public Jeep hack that they fixed the hacking problem, they have not. Either they missed my car with the so called patch to prevent hacking, or some thug found a new entry point. They have stalked the crap out of me for the last four years via my 2015 Jeep Grand Limited. Complaints to Chrysler are answered with a "oh everything is secure". Well, it is not, and I have finally decided to trade this Jeep for an entirely different manufacturer, hopefully one with better cybersecurity. I have driven Jeeps for over thirty years. But their refusal to acknowledge a problem has done it for me. The lawsuit brought in 2015 regarding the 3G access should never have been dismissed.
