CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee shows an early trend of transmission complaints. Most of the complaints are for rough shifting — things like jerking & hesitation when shifting gears.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee also has the same transmission issues.
There are 50 other TIPM on back ordered. Plant that make them is shutdown.
All I got from submitting complaint at FCA was that my ticket was raised at corporate level, which does not solve my issue. I have reserved vacation rental and now need to rent a uhaul pick up truck to tow boat there ($750 additional to repairs). All I found on line was that FCA had the same issue with the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee TIPM... It's very deceiving as my first car was a Jeep.
I am lucky my car stalled due to the TIPM in a slow traffic road and not in a ramp to a highway. This is a safety issue that it fails without warning, lights nothing....
