I was driving along & all of a sudden my car under side make a funny sound and stopped moving forward. I am a single mother & I had my 4 year old son with me. I had to call a tow company & they took it to a repair shop. They charged me $100 to tell me the transmission was gone & metal pieces were in the transmission. Now I have tried to get it fixed because the rest of my car looks NEW. I REALLY TAKE CARE OF IT. But now I am told it cannot be fixed because you knew there was something wrong with this particular transmission so you no longer make the parts, so no one else can get hurt. Therefore, I have a very lovely car that I love but it will never run again. I spent over $20,000 for my car. Can you help me please.
It increased speed, then tried to break and the breaks locked up, then I tried to move to not hit the car in front of me and the whole front passenger side control arm snapped off causing me to loose a tire.
The breaka locked up and i went to go around so i wouldnt hit the person in front of me. When i did the front axle cv joint totally snapped off the passenger side that hold the tire on. And i couldnt steer or anything
On 9/23/20 my 2014 grand Jeep Cherokee accelerated on its own causing me to crash into a fountain wall. I was parking and almost at a complete stop when my car went haywire. It felt as if I got hit from behind, my dash lit up, my engine revved real loud and my car lunged forward. There was enough force to lift my front end and place it on the 2nd tier of the fountain wall. I was in a tight parking area at the hialeah gardens building department. Please google earth the parking lot to understand the parking lot and how compact it is. I had an investigation done on my car and received a very generic response via email regarding the findings and that Chrysler / Jeep were not led to believe that the incident was due to a manufacturing responsibility. Not one person has called me to discuss. Jeep is very lucky my kids were not in the car and that I didn't kill anyone or myself. Customer care has been a joke. They told me that I can request call backs but it will never happen. I have a right to know what the investigation showed on my car. My car accelerated on its own! I cannot get any response from the Chrysler / Jeep on the investigation of the little black box and how they came up with their decision. I believe they send these generic emails out to shut you up and hope nothing further comes about. They know we have no means of talking to anyone and get away with having defaulted SUV's. they get away with lying and being unobtainable. I have additional pictures if you need to see them

My vehicle caught fire after sitting for 2.5 hours and was completely damaged. The front end was completely damaged as the pictures will show. Interior was damaged
The Goodyear Wrangler sr-a tires have all started to dry rot and because of that the vehicle has had 2 flat tires in 3 days. The tires are 2 years old and no where near the 50,000 mile tread life. So 2 times in 3 days we where driving and we have gotten a flat thankfully not a blow out but these tires are junk and need to be recalled.
Rims will collect mud, dirt, snow and become severely out of balance. Living on a gravel/dirt road makes this a re-occurring. Requiring the inside of the rims to be washed out. Never in 54 years of driving have I owned a vehicle with this problem. It makes the vehicle unsafe to drive until the rims is washed out.
As I was driving on a city street the tire pressure light turned on indicating that the front left tire pressure sensor was not functioning and needed to be serviced.
This morning while backing the vehicle out of my driveway onto the street, the steering locked and could not be turned at all. The car was at an angle to the curb on a 1-way city street, there were no obstructions. I struggled to turn the wheel at all when I put it back in drive. I switched from reverse to drive a few times trying to get out of the street and park. Finally, after struggling to turn the wheel even the tiniest bit, I put the transmission in park, shut the engine off, waited a few minutes and restarted it. The steering immediately freed up and I was able to drive to work. I reported it to the local dealer and they can't look at it until almost 24 hours after the incident occurred.
Tire pressure monitoring system requires tire pressure adjustment about every two weeks because of low pressure in one or more wheels. Dealer either cannot or does not want to fix it but hopes for a Jeep advisory or recall. Owner believes electronic connections in wheels are faulty and one or more leaks air. Constant leakage of air represents a potential driving hazard. After 12 flash updates to electronic systems and past failure of electronic transmission control system to shift out of park, it is clear that all electronic control systems without redundancy represent life threatening potential failures in all sytems. When such failure occur, owners will be unable to prove what really happened. The perfect crime!
Vehicle was in a level parking lot with a boat and trailer attached. Vehicle was in park configuration with engine running. Vehicle was left unattended for about 1 minute and it rolled about 100 feet, through the parking lot and across a road and down a levee where it hit a tree on the left front side. The driver was not in the vehicle when it hit the tree. The California highway patrol arrived at the scene and there was no citation issued. There was no other property damage other than to the vehicle and the boat trailer. The insurance company paid for the damage to the vehicle less the deductible.
The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving 35 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. This failure recurred twice while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a rock in the tire. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.
After purchasing the vehicle I started the first leg of a 2000 mile road trip comprising of highway and winding rural roads. During a winding mountainous section of the journey I started to smell something I thought to be possibly a fbrush fire or something burning in the locale I was driving through. Later during another section of stop and go driving I started to smell it again, and noticed some brake fade as well. For the remainder of this leg of the trip I used the paddle shifters to reduce my brake use. Upon a fuel stop before ending the day's travel, I noticed a thick layer of grease coating the inside of the front left wheel. I did a internet search to see if this was a known issue to find several other owners have had the same issue. I have scheduled an appointment at a Jeep dealer for service. Hopefully Jeep can remedy this seemingly common problem.
I was driving on the highway in rush hour traffic when the car suddenly accelerated and side swiped a school bus. The car went out of control and was unable to be stopped, crashing into a concrete media on the left side of the highway before spinning across three lanes of traffic and crashing into the concrete barrier on the right side of the highway and finally stopping. The car was totaled - the entire frame was twisted, all four tires were destroyed, the bumper was hanging off. There was severe damage to the entire car - not one corner or area of the car was not dented, dinged or scraped. None of the air bags deployed (despite the violent nature of the crash). I walked away from the accident but had a herniated disc in my back and an injury to the rotator cuff in my right arm and missed a significant amount of time from work while recovering.
The cv boot on both front wheels has come off, spreading axle grease all over the brakes and other parts of the axle. The dealer service dept noted that Jeep is having issues with these. He is ordering parts.
After only a few days of ownership, I noticed my front wheels were covered with grease on the inside. I took it to the dealer and the service man was surprised when he noticed my cv boots were completely missing on both the left and right front wheels. Dealer replaced both shaft axles. There are many other people who have experienced this same issue. You can read about it more at this website link: www.jeepgarage.org/F73/grease-in-both-front-wheels-normal-73976.html.
Observed grease splattered on the inside of both front wheels. Took vehicle to the dealership where they determined the car needed to have its axles replaced. Believe both cv boots failed spilling grease onto wheels and axles.
Failed cv boot on front drivers side wheel leading to grease expulsion throughout wheel...possibly in brake pad as well on brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee with 220 miles.
Cv boots are not properly secured resulting in the exposure of cv shaft to the elements and loss of grease. Notified rick hendrick Jeep in charleston, SC. The part is on backorder and was instructed to continue to drive the vehicle until replacement shaft arrived.
