Affected Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION

Summary
Flash: Park Assist Enhancement This Bulletin involves updating the Park Assist Module (PAM) software. A customer may notice at low speed operation (below 7mph/11kph) a cluster display indicating an object is detected by the front park assist system. This will be indicated by the fourth (farthest) arc on the vehicle graphic on the cluster. This will typically occur on gravel or sloped surfaces, like an approach ramp. The system calibration is overly sensitive which is causing ground detection as an object in the far zone. Also a condition may happen where the park assist chime will sound continuously. On further inspection one or more of the following DTCs may be found: B128E-25-PTS SENSOR 1 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B128F-25-PTS SENSOR 2 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1290-25-PTS SENSOR 3 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1291-25-PTS SENSOR 4 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1292-25-PTS SENSOR 5 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1293-25-PTS SENSOR 6 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1295-25-PTS SENSOR 8 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1296-25-PTS SENSOR 9 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1297-25-PTS SENSOR 10 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure. B1298-25-PTS SENSOR 11 - Signal Shape / Waveform Failure.
