When I push in the brake and put it into gear, I hear a clicking noise (it sounds like a solenoid by the transmission). It will click continuously for 5-10 seconds and go away. It seems to come back when I push the break again. When you put it in park and release the brake, it will click for about three seconds and stop.
It is not the engine, it will continue to click with engine off. It has 105,000 miles. I have been driving it like this and it seems to be doing fine. However, it is very annoying. Any information for a DIY guy?
