Some time after going in for a recall relating to a software update to the electronic transmission, I noticed a "clunkiness" coming from the rear, particularly when starting out from a stop. I brought the vehicle in for a dash issue and mentioned to the Service Mgr. He said he would look into it, with no response ever received. It proceeded to get worse, however there were times where it seemed to go away. I recently brought the car into Sands Bros. Jeep in Quakertown, PA for several recalls and an inspection. I had been avoiding going there due to the lack of response from the Service Mgr., however they are in a convenient location. Amy, the service tech, called me back to say the driveshaft needed to be replaced, along with the transfer case. We are awaiting the final parts for repair and it seems like the warranty will cover this issue. I will report back with the final result.
