2014 Grand Cherokee, 3.6L Pentastar engine with 80K miles developed a tick. took car into garage and mechanic recommended replacing the lifters and rocker arms. Mentioned the longer you wait, the more damage it will cause and the more it will cost. Estimate to do the work is $3,500,
Called Jeep, Customer care and said there was no warranty coverage. Have to pay out of pocket. Vehicle has been well cared for with regular oil changes and maintenance. Pretty sad when manufacturers don't back the products that they make and are not concerned with doing the right thing.
