replaced both front half axles, straps (1 reports)
I had loved my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit but had put enough miles on it in three years to persuade me to trade it in on a new 2014 Overland. I took out a three-year lease on this car. It has been a lemon from the start. Both front half axles and straps have had to be replaced TWICE. Fortunately everything has been covered by the 60,000-mile warranty I purchased, but having just reached the 2-year mark in my lease, I tried to turn the car back in, only to be told by Chrysler Capital that I would owe them fully for the unused third year, along with another $500 thrown in for good measure. This is the LAST Jeep I will ever buy.
