Took my Jeep in today to have it looked at. Started noticing a vibration at 55-65 miles per hour and when braking at about 65miles per hour. The dealer called and stated I needed new brakes and rotors. I only have 21,998 miles!!! How can my rotors be warped???? I am still under warranty and have an extended warranty and I have to pay $518 out of pocket, let alone I have very low miles.

Grand Cherokee Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,000 miles

Almost got into an accident driving on the PA TurnPike. I'm driving 65 miles per hour and had to hit the brakes hard. The vehicle shook so bad that it kind of jumped to the right and left. The issue started months ago but I thought "this is a new car" so maybe its just a lack of quality. The car has 17k miles and I can only think of 2 times I've had to brake hard. Obviously they're using low quality rotors/pads. Had to pay dealer $35 to look at it and another $240 to fix. The Dealer said none of it is covered. I have a 39 month lease on this vehicle so the odds are that I'm going to have to pay again before the lease is up.
