CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 (and 2015) Jeep Grand Cherokee have a serious defect trend of transmission complaints. Most of the complaints are for rough shifting — things like jerking & hesitation when shifting gears.
I had already a wreck related to the brakes not working less than a week before, then the brakes started to squeal and then I pressed the brake to slow down and the brakes went almost to the floor before I was able to slow down. I took it straight to the dealership and Chrysler sent an engineer and 26 days later determined nothing is wrong with the brake system on my car. I am not comfortable driving the vehicle that has had 3 brake related failures in one week. My insurance company is now involved in researching how to fix the issue. I have not driven my car since June 17th and am making payments on a brand new vehicle that I can't drive.
