There isn't a solution unless I purchase another vehicle. The problem is the area that holds the windshield in relation to the side mirrors. If the seat could be raised more it may eliminate the two blind spots for us short folks.
When making a left turn or someone walking in that blind area (which is huge) an accident will happen. I have to lean extremely forward or backwards to be able to see around this incredibly huge area that blocks the line of site. Between that area and the fact that my low beams not being aimed higher I feel as though I am driving with my eyes closed! Just a thought for your design team. Remember there are people that at 5' tall that drive too.
I love my Jeep, but I may need to trade it for something I can see out of. I've always driven an SUV, i.e., Nissan Pathfinders and Ford Explorers and didn't have this problem. : (
