The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving in a parking lot, four of the five lug nuts detached from the rear passenger tire. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The contact called the manufacturer and was advised not to move the vehicle until it was inspected by an investigator. The contact was advised by the manufacturer to have the vehicle towed to a Chrysler dealer. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 109,000.
2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer writes seeking reimbursement for vehicle parts. The consumer stated the caps on the vehicle's lug nuts were "ballooning" making it impossible to remove with a socket. They had to be pounded off which made them useless. The consumer requested to be reimbursed for 20 new lug nuts.
