While driving my check engine light came on and then the electronic stability control light came on to show the system was off. I tried to accelerate but the car would not go any faster. I let off and moved to the right lane then pressed the gas again. It struggled to go but eventually did resume speed. This problem is intermittent because after I stopped for fuel, the light went away. After a few hours of driving, it came back on. Park the car and it sat overnight. Next morning started up and light was off. Took in for service and cannot get a code for repairs. Suggestion was continue driving in hopes the light will come back on. Could this be camshaft position sensors?

Cruise control suddenly does not kick off using controls unless brakes are applied, nor does it engage all of the time. There is no difference in when vehicle is moving or stationary but will sometimes occur after blinker is used. No blind spot detection alert or message at all.

I had cruise at 80mph on interstate highway and disengaged on exit ramp by using the brake. The car slowed but I used brake againn to yield onto 4 lane road and again to cross over 2 lanes into a gas station. I pulled up to pump slowly. When I put the brake on again to complette the stop, the cruise reengaged and the car took off. Luckily there was open parking spot, I aimed there and car just kept going. Over a curb, through about 75 yards of grass and into a field, about 25 feet in. No braking even tho I tried. In the brush was a concrete block I hit that caused both passenger tires to blow and then the car slowed and went to the left some 5 feet and stopped. No airbags deployed. I only plowed down small brush and missed a tree in my path when car veered left after tires blew. It was a dry sunny morning with no adverse weather conditions. I had only been driving for an hour and had stopped to get gas and use restroom. Thepa state troopers came but since no damage to other property and no injuries, they did not file a report. Usaa insurance notified at once and took the car. They claim it as a total loss. I am blessed to be ok but this cruise/brake malfunction could have been deadly anywhere else. I hope you will investigate I would not want anyone else to experience this

My vehicle left me stranded at a target store parking lot. My vehicle was on with the A/C running. The vent blowers stopped working and the vehicle shut off. It cranked but no start. I used my aaa membership to have the car towed. It was sent to the aaa mechanic. The fuel pump relay was no good. I know there was a recall on this relay but the dealer never had the part in stock. Which sounded bogus to me. The mechanic explained that there is a recall and I should get reimbursed. I sent in my completed the Chrysler reimbursement request form and submitted the shops receipt and the rental vehicle receipt. I was assigned case # 76491689. I paid $3004 in cash for repairs. After I submitted my receipts they denied my claim for $1309 that was related to the fuel pump relay repair. The mechanic also performed other repairs that he claims were as a result of the recall damaging the vehicle. I asked for another receipt stating specifically that I paid in cash and resubmitted it to the denied claim email. I am unemployed due to covid-19 and I spent my savings to fix my vehicle. The ramifications of this mess has affected my personal life and my mental health. For a moment I felt the mechanic lied to me and I was contemplating to physical harm the mechanic. I already had several verbal disputes with the shop because they claim that the receipt they gave me is all they can provide. Yet it was deemed as insufficient proof of my cash payment. I reached out to news station for assistance you resolve this matter.

Cruise control malfunctions with multiple issues. When vehicle is in motion on both highways or on city's streets, the cruise control will not engage most of the time. When it does engage, it will randomly turn off, turn itself on, decelerate, accelerate on it's own. In may of 2017 this same issue was address by the dealer under the warranty and I was assured it was fixed. Today, January 2019. I am starting to have a repeat of the same issues with the cruise control malfunctions of random deceleration, random accelerations or randomly turning off or on whail in motion. This is a daily reaccuance starting again on 1/3/2019. Now that the warranty is expired, the dealership larry miller of boise will require payment for diagnosis or repair of an obvious vehical safety issue that was addressed by them prior under warranty.

While driving on the highway using the cruise control, the car suddenly accelerated. The gas pedal was pinned to the floorboard. I attempted to disengage the cruise control by pressing down on the brake pedal. It did not disengage the cruise control leaving the car still accelerating in traffic up to and beyond 90 mph. I attempted to turn off the cruise control with the switch on the steering wheel but it did not disengage the cruise control. I did see a warning light appear on the dashboard but was unfamiliar with it. I later looked it up in my owners manual and it was the "electronic throttle control" etc) light. Realizing there was no way to disengage the cruise control, my only option was to try to slow the car down by pressing as hard as possible on the brake pedal while the engine was attempting to continue to accelerate. This was moderately successful and allowed me to reduce the speed to a manageable speed to lane change to the emergency lane. Once there I used both feet on the brake pedal where I was able to almost stop the car while the engine raced. It was not able to turn the car off because it was still in gear so I threw the car into park and pushed the off button. The car shut off and I was safely stopped alongside the highway. I have since been able to drive the car but have not attempted to use the cruise control. I have scheduled it to be serviced and will hopefully get some sort of data from the car as to the malfunction. ## VIN passed ## Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 ##

I took my Jeep into a local dealership April/16/2015 for recall 05P14182 or recall P14 ie..a brake booster shield. On May 15 after approx. 3000 miles my ABS, fcw and traction light came on. I could not use my cruise returning to abq. And my brakes were sticking. I took it back to the dealer on 22may and they found that the master was leaking fluid into the brake booster and made mention of the P14 recall. They reperformed the recall and replaced the master and booster and after testing they found the same problem with the brakes. They ordered another master cyl. And after installing said the problem was fixed. On returning to abq on 15july/15 and less than 3000 miles later I encountered the same malfunction. Back to the dealer on July 17 with the same diagnosis and repairs. Less than 1000 miles on Dec. 23/2015 the same malfunction and return to the dealer on 31dec. At this point the service advisor and the mechanic said they could redo the fix but it was going to happen again and it was a health hazard because of the possibility of catastrophic brake failure. I contacted Chrysler about this problem and they said since it was repaired they could not do a vehicle replacement and to contact them when it happens again. I told them what the mechanic and advisor said about break failure and it was "we can not help you." I then wrote to their ncds and was told that since the vehicle was no longer in warranty I had no case. When this started the vehicle had 41759 miles and the last repair it had 48288. The Jeep 2013 has a 50,000 five year warranty. I have all the repair invoices and the emails from Chrysler in my files. Please help

The first incident happened at the end of April. While driving, after crossing a busy street, I suddenly lost power and engine response. After having it towed to the nearest repair shop, I had to have the fuel pump and sender replaced. This is when I was made aware there is a fuel kit relay recall. Now, barely 4 weeks later, this exact same thing has happened again. With apparently no remedy to the recall yet, I am now left paying for the same exact repairs I just had done less than 150 miles ago. This time it happened after crossing into another state, about 45 minutes from home. The time, cost and hassle of all this has been completely unacceptable. Luckily, I was able to get out of the way of major traffic...luckily!

Driving to work in stop and go traffic. Vehicle started to sound extremely loud and acceleration was sluggish. Traffic opened up and from 20 mph increasing to 51 mph noticed (and heard) the RPM was at 6. continued to drive and the RPM neared 7 (the red zone) as I continued to accelerate. Put on the hazards, pulled to the shoulder and turned the vehicle off. Sat for about 2 minutes and restarted. Everything returned to normal and made it to work without further incident. It seems that the vehicle was stuck in first or second gear.

I merged off of the interstate, when trying to hurriedly slow down at stop sign I was not able to stop promptly, I then proceeded to slide into intersection, and was struck on driver's side by F-250. I had just received a recall the prior Thursday on my alternator diodes, and it says possible effects on brake lock system. Current parts were not available for it to be resolved yet.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee was at banking drive through when it accelerated suddenly. Breaks would not stop the car as it accelerated and traveled approximately 500 feet across three lanes of traffic. Finally came to a stop when it was pushed into neutral. Dealer towed and service department ran test for codes. None were found. Service test drove the car for several miles and determined that vehicle was performing as designed. Chrysler sent an independent investigator and they determined no codes and vehicle performing as designed. Just be aware that something happened. Car accelerated and brakes would not work.

While parking in a parking lot with my foot on the brake pedal, the engine RPM's surged and I had to apply extremely hard force on the brake pedal and shift into neutral to stop after traveling 10 to 15 feet. This happened again and I took the Jeep to yark service in toledo oh. They ran a diagnosis and could not find any codes. My wife took the Jeep and while parking had the same problem. Before she could stop the vehicle ran into a post and sustained damage. I called Jeep customer service and reported it as a safety problem on Aug 31. I was told to take it back to the service dept. They said nothing could be done at that time. I took it back the next week and the service manager was not available.
