The vehicle (2013 GC trailhawk ) engine stalls while driving. The electrical remains on, however the engine stalls. My safety is put at risk because this happens while driving on the highway and normal speeds. I have taken it to my Jeep dealer (John Hughes, Perth, Australia ) and they too claimed to have never heard of this issue. Fuel pump relay was already replaced some time back. The issue continues and they claim they cannot figure out the problem. The engine will re-start after about 15 minutes and drives fine until the next time it stalls, which has become more frequent. There is no warning when the engine will stall, it just stops running. This problem has been going on now for over six months for me with the stalling becoming more frequent.- Perth, WA, Australia
Update from Dec 27, 2021: The issue have happened 3 times after reporting. As noticed this usually happens at low gear and low speed. Also observed during this situation if you accelerate - the RPM is very high than usual with no output.
driving to dinner, the car just died. I was able to coast to the side of the road. Had to push it to a parking lot. Would not restart. After trying to restart every other minute for about 15 minutes, it restarted and drove to the mechanic
