The 2012 also received national attention after it failed a Swedish Magazine's "moose test". The test measures a vehicle's ability to swerve out of the way of an obstacle you wouldn't want to hit while driving down the road ... like a moose.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude leaking from top compartment dome lights / sun glass holder. Dealership says is probably the draining that is clogged with debris or drain line is kinked. They want $170 to take a look, wow that hurts. Let’s hope we get a refund for this repair via lawsuit and avoid any additional water damage. Poor engineering
