Usally when I drive the car slow the speed the cars turn off the dealer says the car was repaired but I have over 6 videos when my car turn off in the highway the danger is you can't use the steering because is to heavily to drive.

While driving on the highway the Jeep jolted/ jumped to the side when we drove over mildly unevenly paved roads or overpasses causing us to lose control of our vehicle momentarily. We were at 65 mph and the Jeep rocked a few times upon attempting to stabilize. This has happened numerous times and our last incident almost threw us into the side of a semi. The dealer cannot explain this and we have had new tires and an alignment done without any improvement. If we keep this car I know beyond a doubt that this situation will be the cause of a serious accident / fatality. There is 70,000 miles on this Jeep.

On June 24, 2016, between 1:30 pm and 2 pm, I was driving from brentwood ca to vallejo ca on hwy 780 w and after turning a curve on the freeway which sloped down towards curtola parkway, I applied the brakes at about 30 miles per hour after I emerged from the overpass which was at least 5 car lengths before the cars ahead of me which was stopped at a red traffic light. However, the Jeep continued to roll even though I pressed on the brakes to the floor board. When I realized the Jeep did not stop, after checking for vehicles on the left from the rear view mirror, I swerved to the left to avoid hitting the truck in front of me, but I still hit the left corner of the Nissan truck in front of me but the truck did not hit the vehicle in front of him. I damaged the right corner of the front of my Jeep. The Jeep is unsafe because the brakes failed and would have caused a fatal accident to me, my three passengers, and other vehicles had I been travelling at a high speed. I complied with all available recall repairs including the brake recall in 2014 and all the suggested Chrysler maintenance on the Jeep. I reported the accident to my insurance geico and to Chrysler.

The quadra lift suspension pump can fail at speed dropping the front end and/or the back end of the vehicle on the bump stops and creating a situation where the suspension is non compliant for the road surface potentially resulting in loss of control in a stopping or turning situation. (wife experienced pump failure on her way to work). The pump is known to have problems during cold temperatures. Jeep is refusing to acknowledge the failure.

The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving at approximately 45 mph, the front of the vehicle went up and the rear of the vehicle went down. The vehicle bounced repeatedly. The contact parked the vehicle and, when the ignition was turned to the on position, the air suspension warning indicator illuminated as well as four unknown warning indicators. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the air compressor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 39,600.

I have had multiple problems with my 2012 Grand Cherokee. All of the external lights modules ---headlights and tail lights--- went out and had to be replaced due to an electrical problem then the car sometimes wouldn't start. The dealer couldn't replicate the problem so told me they couldn't do anything. Finally one time it happened at the dealer and they figured it was a defect in the keyless entry that was reading the signal from the key fob. Then when they were inspecting the car they found the rear shock was leaking. They ordered a new part in June and it was finally replaced in Oct as the part was on back order. On a routine oil change the service tech told me I needed routine maintenance check ( 30000 miles) to the tune of $1700 and wanted me to do it right then.. the day after this oil change the check engine light comes on. I called the dealer. They said it was probably because I hadn't done my 30000 mile check ( the day before). He said it could be variable things but probably a bad spark plug that needed to be replaced ( part of the $1700 check he had wanted me to do). I said I had other cars including a 2002 Jeep and I hadn't had to replace the spark plugs at 30000 miles. Then he realized my 3.6 L car did not need spark plugs changed at 30000 ---- only the 5.7 did. Yesterday I checked my fluids and saw the power steering fluid was way low. I called the dealer to see if this was normal. The tech said no--- the steering fluid was in a contained system and should not loose fluid. He said I must have a leak somewhere in the system. He said it was very dangerous but not covered under warranty. He said the engine could catch fire or I could loose steering. Why wouldn't this be covered under warranty? it is dangerous. The car only has 36000 miles and this leak should not happen.

The quadra-lift suspension failed and the front end dropped. The weather was in the low teens or high single digits. A warning was displayed: "immediate air suspension system repair/service is required." Also: "air suspension system cooling down--wait." The dealer replaced a fuse. On Jan. 30, 2014 the same thing happened again in similar weather. The dealer replaced the fuse again, performed several tests and replaced the air control module. Last week an error code appeared in 25-degree weather: "air suspension system cooling down--wait." An on-line search of Jeep forums, etc. Show this problem is not unique to me. The dealer says nothing else can be done until the front end fails again.

I have had multiple minor issues with this vehicle and returned for repair as many as 3 times to get them fixed. Those are minor compared to the challenges I encountered last week with the vehicle. I took it into service the brakes for normal ware and tear and had two recalls taken care of. I also had the rear window which was leaking fixed (3rd time) and dashboard trim repaired (2nd time). About an hour after leaving the dealer the check engine light came on. I returned to the dealer the next day and they discovered it had 2 bad codes that had something to do with a bad ground. Their first thought was the recall work was not done properly. Once they dug into the codes they discovered a couple of things. First the module-active dampening was bad at a cost to me of $749. In my opinion this module had nothing to due with my care for the vehicle and should last the life of the car. It was so hard to get it took the dealer 2 days to find one. They also commented it was the first they have ever replaced. They also discovered due to the check engine light that one of the shocks is bad and will cost approx. $1600 to replace and they are none to be had right now. They are on back order. Again another part that should not be replaced in less then 2 years of highway use. This is a srt model (the most expensive car in Chrysler's line) and it only has surface street and highway miles on it. As for the shock the dealer is asking Jeep to pay for all of it except $100, we shall see. Finally they discovered something they call a "bracket" which is an electrical wiring harness was bad. It was explained to me that they repaired it but if it goes out again it will be another $1600 repair. Once again should not a electronic component that would have to have the dash board removed to replace it last the life of the car?

I bought the car brand new from safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge of warrenton, va. The car makes noises because of a defective absorber, which has been clearly determined in a manufacturer tsb. Also the car has a safety recall for brake booster issues. I took the car to the dealership (safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge of warrenton, va) last June 14, 2014 and they have recognized both issues but didn't have the parts needed in stock to do the repairs. After 2 months and several calls we are getting the same excuses and the repairs are still due. I am afraid they dealership is doing everything to avoid the repair and probably down the road say the car is not under warranty anymore. In the meantime we have a car with a recall and tsb issue that is not getting better.

Right rear shock is leaking oil, causing damage to suspension. Dealership contacted Chrysler and the part is back ordered and will not be available to 6-8 weeks. Unacceptable -this is a safety issue that should not be put off more than a month. So what do customers like myself do, drive around or stay home "carless" because I was sold a bad vehicle? investigation needs to be conducted and something must be done.

Informed by technician that I have the right rear shock to be leaking oil, causing the car to bounce, poor control, rusty brake pads and possibly more problems in the future. The vehicle also have been selected for an important safety recall (brake booster prematurely corrode. I not satisfied with all these safety problems for a car I paid off, bought brand new, only two years old, with such disturbing problems, constantly taking it to the dealership it is inconvenient. The seat belt is difficult to click, un-click and I am very disturbed. I am constantly at the dealership repairing and worrying about what will be next. Chrysler has sold to consumers like myself a poor quality vehicle.

My car makes a terrible noise on suspension, first started on the back of the car, I've send it to a local Jeep dealer to repair it on warranty and after 4 visits they change my shock absorbers (rear), right after that, the noise disappeared for a couple of days and return again, I went again to the dealer, they refused to change it again and set up a meeting with Jeep local warranty manager in pr, their representative drove the car along with me, heard the noise and said, there was nothing they could do, because this was a problem with all Jeep cars from that year (2012) and there was no way to fix it (it might have a recall someday) but I should keep it that way since there were no risk. Then he authorized (after I insist) to change it again the shock absorbers (rear), this time the noise was gone for 2 weeks and came back again. The noise returned again louder, it seems my front and back wheels are loose and I hear a noise on the front of the car (and felt on the steering wheel like something was loose) every time I hit the brakes. On April-2014 I called again Jeep representative in pr and explained all that was happening, he then set up another service on Chrysler/Jeep dealer puerto rico and on 04/21/2014 the dealer representative took my car for repair and said they changed again the shock absorbers (rear) for the third time and also changed another piece to fix the front noise. Again for 2 weeks the rear noise disappeared and now returned louder and also on the front of the car makes a snap noise every time I start the car and sometimes when I make turns (left and right). My warranty expires on 28/Feb/2015 and it seems Chrysler/Jeep is just pushing it until I hit this date and no longer be responsible for the repair. I`M afraid for my family`S security since we use this car on daily basis on freeways here in pr for our commute.
