The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving approximately 10 mph, an abnormal burning smell emitted into the vehicle. The contact stated that the interior lights were turned on, but failed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness and headliner burned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 14V391000 (electrical system). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 18,000.
