The contact owns a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving approximately 30 mph down hill with pressure applied to the brake pedal, the vehicle would not stop. Repeated pressure was applied to the brake pedal and a grinding noise was heard but the vehicle would not stop until it crashed into another vehicle. A police report was not filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer who stated that the brakes were working properly. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 9,000.
