I purchase car in June 2009, had many issues. But the worst the A/C just stopped working, they replace the Activator. then Dec 2013 now out of warranty, same issue. they replace activator again and bunch of other parts, no longer under warranty $1400 dollars.
Now same issue February 2017, this should be a recall so many people are having same problem. It's costing us so many a bunch of money. Hot air coming out no A/C again. Jeep should check into getting this issue repair.
My plans at this point I'm looking to research on starting a "class action suit" against Chrysler Jeep.
Would appreciate if anyone has any helpful feedback.
Just out of the blue, the AC starts blowing hot air. I brought the AC pro do it yourself kit, but it did nothing to remedy the situation. The compressor still cycles, so I guess that's a good thing.
This the 6th Grand Cherokee I have owned and three have had A/C problems. Blows hot air. The last car was brought in at least three times for this problem. Their conclusion was that the air flow doors were not functioning.
I'll be curious to see what they find on my present Jeep which is at the dealers now.
