Vehicle stalled at around 20 mph and could not restart (engine would not turn over) for several hours. After several hours, vehicle started fine for dealer. Dealer could not find root of the problem. Behavior seems similar to recall NHTSA campaign id 08V059000, but this vehicle is not on the recall list.
The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that when driving at various speeds, the interior lighting, exterior lighting, heater/air conditioner, turn signals, and the windshield wipers would fail sporadically. In addition, the contact was attempting a left turn when the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was inspected by the dealer and they were unable to diagnose any of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
