The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the brake pedal extended to the floor when depressed. She stated that the brakes would squeal and grind each time they were applied. Occasionally, the vehicle would not stop until the brake pedal was pumped several times. The failures occurred while driving between 1 and 45 mph. The dealer replaced the ABS switch, however, the failure continued. The vehicle has been to the dealer six times and they have been unable to correct the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000 and current mileage was 18,000.
