I bought my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee in February of 2016, used with 82 000 km on the odometer. In the the month of March, I noticed a strange vibration which started to act up at about 100 km per hour. The vibration(wobbling)felt more like my 4 tires were coming off the truck. I pulled over to see if the lug nuts on the rims had become loose. I did the turn of my truck verifying each tire. Everything seemed fine. I resumed my path and no vibration. 15 minutes later while driving on the highway, the vibration started again. I was was hitting about 100 km per hour. I got scared and let go the accelerator. When the truck finally hit 60 km per hour, the vibration or wobbling was gone. This problem has occurred at least 1-2 a week since having the truck. I have brought to the dealership explains that the vibration or wobble does not occur all the time. The service attendant assured me he would find the problem. After removing the driveshaft, sending it to get rebalanced ( which was returned to the dealership and DID NOT NEED BALANCING, the service manager decided it was the tires that needed balancing. THIS DID NOT WORK. after costing me 500$ plus, the truck still has the same problem. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW CHRYSLER DOES NOT HAVE A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SOMEONE WILL GET HURT! I have been doing a lot of research to find out what the problem may be, and I have a feeling it's the DEATH WOBBLE. PLEASE HELP.
