Also, the contact mentioned that prior to receiving the recall notification the vehicle had stalled, and the fuel pump was replaced. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

However, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
While turning right into a parking lot at low speed, my knee brushed the key chain/key and ignition turned off while still in drive. Has happened once more in the last month in a similar circumstance, both luckily at low speed in empty parking lots. Had to shift to park and restart engine to regain power/control.
