Suddenly Accelerated, The Jeep was parked in front of our home on the street, We pull all vehicles into our driveway at night , we parked them side by side and can fit at least 8 cars in our driveway, I have done this many other times with all our vehicles,
That early evening I started up the Jeep, put on my seat belt, and had my foot securely on the brake, I shifted the Jeep into Drive and let it glide or Idle forward about 15 feet past our driveway, I never used the Gas pedal because we live on a hill and the vehicle is powerful so I just used the brake while it went forward. I then came to a complete stop , Next I went to shift the Jeep into Reverse at the same time I had to turn my body to look behind me so I could back it in, THAT"S WHEN THE JEEP JUST PEELED OUT It just screeched and went backwards at full power, I knew I had my foot on the brake and for a second thought maybe I hit the gas, though I knew I never took my foot of the brake, so I adjusted my foot and could tell I was holding the brake yet it would not stop the vehicle,
I tried not to hit the other parked vehicles but the Jeep was so fast there was nothing I could do, I was practicly standing on the brake with my weight and I was getting scared,
The Jeep also plowed through 3 sections of a 6 ft stockade fence then smashed into our neighbors parked car,
so 4 vehicles and 3 sections of a stockade fence was damaged. also the yard was pretty ripped up from the tires , when it was all over I was shocked, and confused as to what happened, I knew I did nothing wrong, so later that evening I went on google and looked up brake and acceleration problems with 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokees and found so many stories like mine,
These Jeeps have been suddenly Accelerating for almost 20 years
Diane sawyer did a story about run away Jeeps back in 2087 on Prime time, also Car wash dealers have had mostly Jeeps that suddenly accelerate after getting washed, one guy told me he had 4 Jeeps out of control and will no longer wash them, Toyota has the same complaints and had to recall there vehicles,
SOME REASON CHRYSLER IS GETTING AWAY WITH SUDDEN ACCELERATING JEEPS they know that it's so hard to proove it, and blame driver error
if I thought I made a error I would admit this, I know I could NOT STOP THIS JEEP< and I have called lawyers who admit it's real and will not take a case unless I killed or really physically hurt myself or someone else, look up Jeep Grand Cherokees Suddenly accelerating and accidents you will find so many stories like mine, it's happeneing mainly in Driveways, parking lots, and car washes....... a women in New York hit 2 sisters, and said she couldn't stop her Jeep. in Main look up Hay ride accident, that hurt over 20 people and killed others. the Hay ride was being pulled by a Jeep Grand Cherokee,''
