I got the recall N23/NHTSA fixed, and after, my 4wd low didn't work. I did not know it had anything to do with the recall at the time. I know it happened a couple of years ago, but I lost my husband suddenly and didn't care to take care of anything. About a month ago, I went online to see if I could find out why I was getting the service 4wd on the dash. Let me tell you, this search took hours! Egads! I finally found a Jeep recall site, and found out that there was a service bulletin # 21-022-14 for the problem (which I never got notified of), but when I searched by VIn, Make, and Model, this # apparently doesn't exist! On a side note, I wound up finding another recall for my vehicle that, once again, didn't receive a notice of either! The date on the recall by the way is Sept of 2014, and it says that the part required to remedy the risk of my brakes, power steering, and loss of engine power that could result in a crash, not to mention my air bag may not deploy is not available! What?? It's been almost 2 years now. If I would have received my recall notice, I would have paid to get it repaired and let them reimburse me.
I am contacting them tomorrow about both things, and will give an update. Wish me luck! Haha!
