The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When he opened the hood of the vehicle, it fell on his head because the hydraulics failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the hydraulics do not work in cold weather. The dealer also stated that there was no fix for the failure; however, he would have to pay $100. The manufacturer was also called and confirmed what the dealer stated. The failure mileage was 24,362. Updated 11/16/10.
