The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the horn seized without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the horn switch failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000....updated 04/26/16 vehicle purchase date should be on or before incident date. Updated 6/6/18
Horn blows for no reason, at any time. Blows when drive a 60 miles an hour, just setting in driveway. Have taken it to dealer, still have same problem. It's a safety problem, because people think I am blowing at them and mad and wont fight. Need a fix for this problem.
