I bought this car April 8, 2019. I drove it home from the dealer, and it ran OK, except that all the warning lights were on the dash, like seat belts, skid control, airbag sensors. We ran it to a diagnostic mechanic and got it diagnosed as the ignition computer module. I ordered a module from our Chrysler dealer in Greenbay in mid April. I was told it would be here in approximately 2 weeks. The manufacturer then was supposedly changed and it would take that much more time.
I have been in close contact with the dealer several times and have been told that it was still coming as soon as the new manufacturer got caught up with necessary production. It is now 8 months and this vehicle is now sitting in our local Jeep dealer's yard for 3 weeks awaiting this module. It is now totally undrivable as it will start and die immediately. I was told that this was a recall a couple of years back but the time has run out for the warranty of this problem. I work for a car dealer here in Marshfield, and I will be putting this back up for sale ASAP when the part arrives if and when it ever does. I have lost 8 months of value while waiting for this to get fixed. Many people drive Jeep, but I will no longer be owning it.
