The contact owns a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving 30 mph, there was a burning odor coming from the vehicle. The contact noticed the resistor pack was melted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.
Electric windows and locks stopped working. Found broken wire in driver side door harness. Repaired the wire and then rf door harness wires broken. Repaired those wires and now harness contact in rf door panel connection is faulty. Window and locks do not work unless you wriggle connector. Rr door does not lock. Replace window and door switch but did not solve the problem.
