: the contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the power steering fluid leaked onto the pavement. The contact determined the power steering hose had a leak, and replaced the power steering hose. The dealer was alerted. Updated 09/22/06. 8jb
Harsh down shifting, results in loud clunking, rear tire squalling, and passenger discomfort. Rough shifting into gears while parked. Moaning brakes, warped rotors fuel pump deficiancies, and miscellaneuos electrical problems.
As a result of a kink in pressure line hose of power steering, vehicle was very difficult to steer in the middle of a turn driving on the highway. Later, in driveway, was not able to steer vehicle at all.
Power steering makes honking noise when turned. Dealer claims that this is unfixable and is due to a power steering fluid surge that causes the hose to vibrate. Chrysler's response is basically to 'live' with it.
