Vehicle was parked and engine running, emergency brake not applied. Vehicle suddenly kicked into reverse and took off, 2 young children inside. Vehicle ended up in a ditch, no injuries. Damage to vehicle unknown at this time. The vehicle has long crank time when cold due to fuel upmp module failure. The right front window mulfunctions but the dealer could not duplicate the problem.
The car has been out of service nineteen days since 11/99. In three times for three windows being inoperable. Front brakes needing to be scuffed and new rotors on four different ocassions. Transfer fluid changed from turning noise on four different occasion and transfer case pump being replaced when in stock. Fuel pump replaced 16,000 mi. Ac problems, worn tires, battery replaced at 19,788.
Front/side visibility is restricted due to wide support between front window and side passenger window, I am of average build and drive with my seat almost all the way forward. There is a large blind-spot in this area and several times I have not seen an oncoming vehicle when attempting to pull onto a highway
1. front brake rotors had to be replaced 3 times due to warping; 2. driver's side window failed to open properly, and neededed to be replaced twice, and 3. rear drive axle bearing failed.
Vehicle has had continuous problem with the transmission slipping and lurching forward at stops. The transmission also intermittently slips and makes loud clunking noises while driving. Dealer says that they do not find a problem. Despite over 45 days

While driving at night windows are tinted to dark & very hard to see out. Was looking out back window to back up & failed to notice another vehicle behind Jeep. The tint needs to be lightened. Taking vehicle to dealer.
Rear-back window leaked, reseal failed, had to remove window and reseal, took 4 days. Front differential failed causing front tires to hop during tight turns, diff replaced took 3 days. When stopped at a stop light truck lurches forward almost as if hit from behind, this happens 1 sometimes 2 times at one stoplight, engine revs also increase when this happens, dealer cannot fix. Gas tank is very hard to fill the pump stops before it is full and many times gas spills all over truck and pavement causing a fire hazzard, also gas cap is very hard to remove.
Strong vibration in steering wheel column when brake is applied firmly at high speed. Driver side windows fails to operate. Defective wiring harness in rear door causes warning chimes when going over bumps or making sharp turns.
