Recall 02V053000 concerning inadvertent vehicle movement. After putting the vehicle in park consumer left the vehicle for a minute. Upon returning to the vehicle it put itself in reverse. Vehicle rolled back one hundred fifty feet and collided with a wall. There were no injuries, nor did the police arrive on the scene. This vehicle had recall repairs done in 2002, problem recurred.
Eletrical, air condition, body noise over all unhappy with vicial evaporator core $1000 to repair lights and dash gages do not fuction properly suspicion sqeaks had oiled helped for a day brakes were very quick will not line up if you let go of the wheel it goes straight off the road radio can not be truned up door paniles vibrate left turn light stays on on the dash at all times fuel gage reeds emepty even when full an light is on.
While getting out of the vehicle and walking to the trash can, consumer had the vehicle in park and the vehicle popped out of park into reverse and hit another vehicle. Occurred twice, first time driver was able to stop vehicle. The consumer is having problem's with the tranmission, which is not shifting into gears. And the check engine light keep coming on.
Vehicle was stopped, shifted into park, and engine shut off. After driver walked away vehice began moving. Transmission had slipped from park to reverse. Driver jumped into vehicle and applied the hand break. Passenger in front seat was unable to shift lever back to park.
Pulled into parking area & put vehicle in park. Reached in rear for bag & exited vehicle. Heard a crash. Noticed vehicle had hit compressor shield. Tried to get vehicle out of park. Button would not depress to release drive/reverse. Called dealer & informed vehicle never in park position, was steering gear problem.
