I own many jeeps and my grand cherokee was the worst one ive ever bought. the 5.9 limited is fun to drive dont get me wrong BUT AND ITS A BIG ASS BUT this car is a pain in the ass to fix!!!!! parts are not interchangable with other grand cherokees. so junk yard guys, i am one ok i trid to get alot of crap and you cant use them on this model. i changed the water pump twice (first one failed after 20,000 miles), thermostat twice, hoses, and radiator. i couldnt stop this overheating. what was it you ask???? The FAN!!!!! so i go to the junk yard.... the 5.9 had its own special fan.... and its $723.00 from the dealer and no you cant get it from anyone else i tried...trust me. so i had to get a universal piece of sh*t and stopped my car from overheating, but it runs 20 degrees hotter than it should! so.
there are A F*CKING LOT of problems with this jeep, the seats seize up, the mirrors adjust themselves, sunroof switch goes in and out, all the window regulators broke, fuel gauge doesnt work right, engine needs oil changed every 3000 miles dont go over!! itll sludge up, powersteering box has leak that cant be fixed, ac hoses, power steering hoses, transmission seals and it go figure went out, its only $1900 from a local shop or $2900 from jeep. im sorry to kill your hopes and dreams but you will thank me. light switch started going bad so the whole car was blinking!! im pretty sure my jeep was owned by satan, i would not doubt it and i was close to giving the jeep to my junk yard so they could crush that POS!!
