On 2 separate occasions engine repeatedly lost power at highway speed. First incident, engine check appeared & dealer replaced oxygen sensor. Second incident (2 weeks later) dealer unable to determine problem & still looking. Has never happened during city driving. Keeping gas tank full appears to eliminate problem, but may be coincidential.
Erratic oil pressure. Mechanic investigated and determined that car only had 1 qt of oil in it. I had just added almost 2 qts 2 weeks ago. No leaks and no smoke indicating a leak or burning. Must be leaking into engine itself which is not a good sign. Plugs are okay, so no oil going there. Where could it be going" how do we resolve this? any other similar reports" help!
The engine check light keeps coming on & then going off. It's intermittent. Was checked by dealership & no codes appeared. The engine would stall out for no reason. Neither speed or weather is a factor. Had it checked for stalling & nothing was found. The vehicle will not start right away. Had it on diagnostics & nothing showed for the starter.
Moved around vehicle after being at a complete stop. Then the truck died, had no power, but was still running. Coasted 25 feet and the truck stopped completely. Now the gas guage is not accurate.
While driving the vehicle died on the driver, and the driver got the vehicle back running by putting gas into the vehicle. Dealer says that once getting to a quarter of gas the vehicle runs out of gas. Dealer says that the parts are on back order. This was no recall, but there are parts available for this problem.
