I had my car in park when the car proceeded to go back by itself with my child in it.I ran after the car and the car dragged and scraped me and smashed my right leg.it stop when it hit my neighboors fence. If it weren't for the fence it would have ran me over.I contected the manufauture and they send some one out to investicate and proceded to tell my that thier ws nothing I could do.I contacted several attorneys and they said they couldn't help me. I feel that the car is unsafe and I have three children and can not afford to purchase a new car to keep my children safe. I hope that you can please help.
The consumer was backing boat on trailer down boat ramp, the consumer let the boat float off the vehicle, so that the trailer was out of the water, the vehicle was placed in park and the consumer exited the vehicle, suddenly the vehicle jumped into reverse knocking the consumer down and drug him into the water, the consumer sustained a bruised right ankle and was covered w/ road rash from neck to heels. Nlm
Consumer did not see incident, however assumes vehicle jumped out of park and went into reverse hitting a wall, and then went into drive hitting a vehicle, claim 32-V347-010.

Consumer is requesting information regarding any recalls, service bulletins, etc, this vehicle has experienced jumping out of gear, analyst is assuming this happened to consumers vehicle due to letter stating one person was injured, claim 14-1420-829.
While in a drive through window, consumer bumped the vehicle in front of him. He backed up slightly, puts vehicle in park and began to exit vehicle to make sure there was no damage, the vehicle then rolled into the other vehicle for a 2nd time. 13-7236-080
Consumer placed the transmission in park and then waited several seconds before exiting the vehicle. As she was exiting the vehicle, the Jeep started to move in reverse and the driver's door knocked her to the ground. The tire of the Jeep then ran over her legs. The vehicle continued to travel in reverse, made a turn to the left, drove over a curb and collided with a building. The vehicle then apparently shifted into forward gear as it travelled forward through a garden and failed before stopping in a group of trees.
Vehicle was placed in park to open gate, went through the gate, stopped vehicle again placed in parked, got out of vehicle to close gate, upon closing the gate, consumer looked up and saw that vehicle was in reverse and coming toward her, the vehicle crashed through the gate damaging the entire drivers side of vehicle.
After putting the gear shift in the park position with then engine still running, consumer exited the vehicle, turned to go open the rear passenger door, and realized the vehicle began to roll backward, consumer attempted to get back in the vehicle to stop it, but his foot slipped from the brake pedal to the accelerator, which then accelerated out of control backward ultimately rolling over the consumer causing serious injury.
Vehicle was on an incline, the emergancy brake was on, while vehicle rolled back in to water. When the vehicle pulled out of the water the emergency brake was still on.
