The cooling system clogs up and water puddles on the back passenger floor board. It is very hard to find the drain plug (impossible) therefore we use a rubber mallet and pound on the front passenger floor board and the clog usually breaks up.
Now my air conditioner has quit. We have refilled the freon and it works for a couple of weeks and quits again. Evidently the evaporator has a leak and I'm told it's not worth fixing.
There are basic design issues with the Jeep Grand Cherokee A/C system that causes the cooling to cease and the evaporator to leak water into the right side of the interior. Even replacement parts do not seem to compensate for their bad design; and the drain from the evaporator is circuitous and very subject to repeated clogging.
