I have been able to inspect many Grand Cherokee and notice that the majority pre 1996 had leakage problems. Those problems were either with the transmission seals leaking or engine seals leaking. I feel this is caused by a poor craftmanship or materials. I personally have had this problem for at least 4 years now, but I have seen many that have fairly low mileage that are having the same problem. This is something that should be looked into for resolution.
Engine cooling lines & the evaporator core had to be replaced due to fluid leaking. This would happen when vehicle is parked or while driving. Also, vehicle would hesitate or jerk due to leakage of transmission fluid.
