While driving, the fan blower for the defroster/heater quit, later consumer noticed there was no change in air circulation from the fan when changed from low to high, consumer removed the dash cover and heater control assembly and saw where the switch/connector and adjacent wiring had melted, dealer ordered a replacement switch and connector and the consumer found a wiring harness at a salvage yard from another Jeep Cherokee.
When I test drove the vehicle, the electric windows did not work. The dealer had their mechanic look at it and pronounced that the "fuse was loose." I subsequently purchased the vehicle and have driven approximately 1,000 miles and the windows did not work today. I checked the fuse and it was very hot. After it cooled down, I started the car and checked to see if the windows would work. They did, but very very slowly for about 1/2 inch. I turned off the vehicle and started it up again to try to roll up the window. I got the window up and checked the fuse again. It was very hot. I suspect there is an electrical wiring problem the dealer did not disclose to me. What should I do?
