Driver's side door lower hinge wore out and became loose, causing the door to sag. The latch mechanism was misaligned, and the door became detached from the mount position. The vehicle door would not close due to the latch mechanism failing.
Door hinge is worn out and causing the door to be out of aliagnment causing excessive were on door latch which now has to be fitted with a piece of metal welded on to reattach locking mechanism.
Premature wear of door hinge pins caused my door to sag. This sag causes a misalignment of the door lock and the pillar pin. Eventually the door structure around the lock breaks due to stress and the result is the door cannot be closed or held against the car. The door creates a dangerous safety concern as the door can come open upon operation of the vehicle. My door cannot be shut because of this condition and even in the event of a minor accident the door come open and cause serious injury to the driver.
Driver top hinge appear to be shear off causing door to hang down; making it hard to close properly. Dealer notifed, will not repairs unless cost go to consumer.
The bottom hinge on the driver's side door has broken away from the frame. The dealer was notified about the problem. The problem has not been corrected.
