The factory sunroof on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon detached at highway speeds. The springs that hold tension on the clamps that secure the soft top to the frame, unbeknownst to me at the time, lost tension. While travelling down the highway the soft top clamps loosened from a small bump and the wind caught the soft top itself. I immediately reacted, reached up, and tried to bring the soft top back down as I was frantically slowing down on the highway and merging right. The soft top ripped from my hand cutting it open and smashed into the rear of the vehicle. When the soft top smashed into the rear of the vehicle several hinges broke, luckily one was still holding the soft top from completely falling off. This obviously poses a very large safety risk as the soft top could have flown into another vehicle disabling it or much worse; causing injury or death. The problem has been reported by others through online forums and the consensus is that the springs inside the clamps weaken over time leading to this issue. The soft top was not inspected by the dealer or anyone else, they did not care to investigate. The dealer only replaced the soft top after more than a month of waiting for parts to arrive. I have informed Jeep Cares and Jeep Customer Care over the phone; however, they did not seem interested in actually fixing the issue. Jeep instead directed me the dealership only to have the soft top replaced. I am now following up with NHTSA regarding this issue as the other avenues have yielded no results. It should be noted that in my forum post I ended up paying more than the $500 deductible, there was constant confusion between the dealership and insurance, the invoice is attached. Regarding my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Rear Window Cracks Around Rear Glass Frame. On [XXX], I took my Gladiator to Jeep dealership to repair leak in roof that wasn't covered under warranty. It was in the seal of the roof panels which they said many Gladiators are experiencing. Paid $402 out of pocket to have those seals repaired. At that service visit, the service attendant advised me that they are aware of a structural defeat causing cracks around the seal of the rear window. They said the whole rear window needs to be replaced at an out of pocket cost to the consumer of $1800. Jeep Warranty nor our extended warranty covers any of it. Also there is no recall for it! They told us to call Jeep to complain as they didn't think this was right. They were going to call as well. I called the number they gave me 1-877-426-5337 and the rep said it wasn't covered but gave me a case number and said he would pass on our complaint. Being a defect and a large window, it could most definitely be a safety issue and we feel Jeep should issue a recall. I believe many consumers out there are beginning to have this same issue. The Gladiator first came out in 2019 and issues with them are just coming to light. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Water leaking inside vehicle from the rear window. I went online and discovered there are several people having issues with the same type of problem. I would hate for the humidity to cause electrical malfunctions causing an accident from water damage.

Both latches on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator soft top inadvertently unlatched while driving on interstate at approximately 75 mph, causing the top to start opening. Driver and passenger grabbed top and conducted emergency stop on shoulder of interstate to keep the soft top from fully opening. The inadvertent opening occurred three times in span of 15 minutes at increasingly slower speeds. To continue our trip, we were able to secure the soft top to window frame with bungee straps installed over the latches to keep latches in place. Concerned that an inadvertent opening of the soft top at interstate speed might cause driver to loose control of vehicle while dealing with grabbing the soft top at high speed, structural damage to top, and/or potential for soft top to depart the Jeep and damage vehicles driving behind. The structural issues appears to be with the design of the two latches that secure the soft top to window frame. Latches seem too weak/loose to provide secure closure of the soft top. I took the Jeep Gladiator to a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer and the dealer service representative stated there was a technical bulletin for adjusting the latches. The dealer mechanic adjusted my Jeep's latches according to tsb specifications. In my opinion, the latches are still loose and unstable. Will not drive my Jeep at highway speed until the issue is fixed. I contacted Chrysler and was assigned a case manager to hopefully resolve the issue.

I entered the highway and my power steering light came on. I then lost power steering. Immediately got off at the next exit and pulled into the gas station. As I exited my vehicle I observed smoke coming from the hood vents. The engine bay then became fully engulfed in flames and the fire department responded to extinguish the fire. Vehicle is total loss.

The roof leaks in the center front and will unexpectedly hit the driver with water while driving. I was told by the dealer service manager that all Jeep leak and that he would try to fix it but it would likely get worse. It is a dangerous event to get hit by water while driving without warning. This is a new Jeep 2020 Gladiator. Since I am told it can't be fixed it would be considered a dangerous flaw. They have offered for me to drive to another dealer in another city to attempt repair. With what I have been told that seems to be an avoidance.

When opening and closing the driver and passenger side doors, there is a noticeable clicking sound. I have since become aware that the aluminum exterior of the door is peeling away from the steel structure inside of the door resulting in this clicking sound due to the flexing of the door.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. While driving approximately 65 mph, the floor panel on the front driver's side became so hot that it burned the bottom of the driver's foot. The carpet on the floor panel was removed and there was a warning not to remove the carpet because the exhaust system runs under that side of the vehicle. The contact stated that the warning label was not visible unless the carpet was removed. The vehicle was taken to lithia Jeep Dodge (2229 king ave w, billings, mt 59102) where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was performing according to standards. The manufacturer was contacted via email. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000.
