Major hesitation, 2 seconds, in downshifting when slowing down and then stepping on gas. Very dangerous when slowing down and making a left turn and car won't go.
Transmission also pops out of gear and then back in gear when shifting from reverse to drive and from drive to reverse. Dealer stated that there is a computer fix coming but that was a year ago and no fix yet. Had the dealer reinstall original code since I got 4500 good new miles with no issues and that did not correct the issue, however I don't even know if they did what I asked.
Problem is getting worse so asked dealer to do a transmission fluid flush and they stated it's not possible as it's a lifetime transmission and not serviceable, WTF.
Can you say they are blowing smoke up my tailpipe?
Found out online that it is a Hyundai transmission, go figure.....
