Summary
Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set: DTC P1DD2 will be stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) however no DTCs will be stored in the PCM. Verify no unrelated codes are stored in the PCM before flashing. If codes are stored in the PCM, normal diagnosis should be performed.B25C9 - Driver Door Ajar Switch 2 Stuck Closed. P061A - Level 2 Torque Performance. P06E9 - Engine Starter Performance(North America Only). C050D - Wheel Speed Signal Left Rear Rationality. C0501 - Wheel Speed Signal Left Front Rationality. C0507 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Front Rationality. C0513 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Rear Rationality. P1DD2 - Torque Request Signal From TCM Denied will be present, set by the TCM and the vehicle will be in limp home mode(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 - Automatic Transmission Vehicles Only). U1428 - Inaccurate Engine Torque Received(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 Only). Customers may also comment on one of the following:Long engine cranking prior to vehicle start more noticeable when the outside temperature is above 40°c (104°f)(EMEA with Sales Code ED6 only). Poor shift quality. Lack of vehicle speed. Vehicle will intermittently not start(South Korea Only). The vehicle is in limp home mode (shift RPMs are limited) with no DTCs set (Sales Code DE1 - Manual Transmission Vehicles Only).
