I have a 2 year old compass that out of no where the center radio and control panel will shut down and go black. Sometimes, the unit will come back on right a way and the other times about 1 minute the screen will light up and it looks as if it is rebooting as a computer would do. After that it work for a while and it may do it again sometimes it will take a day or two. This unit controls my radio, heat, GPS and other areas as well. The dealer has put a new control panel in the car a bout 6 months ago and it worked find for about 3 or 4 months.
