Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates
This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
have been set: P16A2 - ETC Motor Self-Learning (Limp Home Position). P023E - Turbocharger Pressure And Manifold Pressure Plausibility (Signal Rate Of Change Below Threshold)Euro Stage 6D Emissions
(Sales Code NBD). Customer may also experience the following:Engine hesitation/surge feeling after a cold engine start and while driving in 2nd gear under 3000 rpm (customer may comment that the engine
doesn't give full power until after a couple minutes)Euro Stage 6D Emissions (Sales Code NBD).
