The light indicating the auto start/stop function when the engine is idling lit up. At this point it simply means that the car won't "shut off" when sitting at a red light. It went on and off for a few months randomly. At first, it was suggested that it would be fixed by the car going in for the over-consumption of oil recall. Only a few weeks after it was in for the recall, the light for that feature went on and stayed on.
I have now brought this vehicle into dealer 16 times for this same issue. Get warning light to come on that states " stop/start unavailable service stop/start system" Tech checks for code and some times there is one and other times it is not relevant to anything that would deal with the system. They try software updates, replacing parts and nothing seams to work for a long term fix. Have personal case with Chrysler and Lemon layer, dealer has case with Chrysler. I just want out of this car and into something that is more reliable and no one seems to be able to help me with this.
