Radio Information screen is CLIMATE SENSITIVE… CONDENSATION BUILDS UP UNDER PLASTIC SCREEN and causes screen to Fog up….with temperature changes from hot to cold and from cold to hot…in summer screen gets too hot …temporary fix is to put towel or sheet or news paper or cardboard tent over vents and include screen under this same tent then turn on air conditioning to high to cool screen in about 10-15 minutes screen will return to normal -crystal clear but it’s only a temporary fix…it will continue to happen on and off until you find another fix or pay CHRYSLER it’s extortion fee.

CHRYSLER IS THE WORST…THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE BAILED THEM OUT…THEY SHOULD HAVE LET THEM FAIL…..

The best way I can describe this is that the computer touch screen will randomly show lines through the screen. We thought it was screen failure, only it will then randomly repair itself. It happens often when I hit a bump so I am wondering if it is a loose wire somewhere.

I removed the screen to see if there was a loose connection to it, only I did not see anything. Oddly enough, the USB plug in the center column quit working too. Of course these things happened after the warranty expired. I spoke to the dealership but they told me that chasing down a loose connection would cost thousands of dollars with no idea if it would be repaired.

I have been dealing with it for two years now. I can still use the screen, but it's difficult to read if the lines are bad at that moment. It's a real pain in the ass though!
